Altran CIS was initially selected by a worldwide leader in technical assistance and healthcare insurance to provide project management services on the development and deployment of its ERP system across Europe. Later on the Altran CIS team started providing application engineering activities on this ERP environment. As this client bought a major competitor in its heathcare insurance business, a large integration project was started on which Altran CIS provides the project management as well as the functional testing expertise. As the healthcare insurance business and other healthcare related services prove to be a highly dynamic and high growth business segment, a large portfolio of projects and deployments across the world are under way and Altran CIS is providing the program management for this.

  • Technical expertise, project management and architecture

One of Altran CIS’s clients has won an exclusivity contract from the CIM (Center for Information about the Media) to commercialize data related to advertising expenditures by advertizers, agencies, publishers and marketeers. Altran CIS was selected to build a Business Intelligence application that would provide answers to:

  • Who is advertising Where, When, How much? This was called AdStat.
  • What are the new media campaigns? This was called AdView and allows its clients to view advertisements online in different multimedia formats.

Altran CIS’ expertise in both J2EE and BI resulted in a unique business intelligence platform integrated and embedded into a portal based on Open Source solutions.

  • Business Intelligence

Altran CIS’s business intelligence consultants assisted an international retailer in the start-up phase of the BI organization and the launch of a new BI platform and the associated processes. The datawarehousing activities (ETL analysis and development, team lead, project management) are managed by an Altran Core team as well as the reporting environment (architecture, metadata, report development, optimizations, business analysis and project management).
